Due to the limitation in its number of lead positions, the CC3-CAJUN RS-232 RJ45 connector is

not provided with the Ring Indicator (RI) signal, which may be in use with POTS modems. A

solution to this issue would be the CC6-ACID mezzanine companion board, which provides two

PC style COM port connectors in its front panel, including RI.
